As part of our technological development, we have commissioned a new 5-axis Matsuura MAM72-35V machining center. The goal of this investment is to ensure that MAXITOOL tool holders are manufactured with even higher precision, consistent quality, and greater efficiency, meeting the demands of modern industry.
One of the machine’s key features is the automated 32-position pallet system, which enables continuous production. During operation, the system manages 32 pallets simultaneously: while one pallet is being machined, the others can be prepared with new workpieces. This significantly reduces downtime and allows for uninterrupted, even overnight or weekend, unmanned production. As a result, productivity, predictability, and overall efficiency are greatly improved.
The machine is equipped with a 130-tool capacity magazine, allowing a wide range of tools to be stored and automatically changed during operation. This ensures that complex machining processes—from roughing to finishing—can be completed within a single cycle without interruption. Fast and precise tool changes minimize idle time while maintaining consistently high machining quality.
The advanced control system is capable of measuring finished geometries and, if necessary, automatically correcting tools based on the measured values. This reduces the need for manual intervention and increases process reliability. Through automation, production becomes more stable and predictable, while the entire manufacturing process becomes more transparent.
With the introduction of the Matsuura MAM72-35V, our primary goal was to expand our production capacity. In addition, the applied technology ensures that MAXITOOL tool holder components are manufactured with outstanding precision, consistent quality, and in a modern, efficient production environment—securing long-term competitiveness for MAXITOOL products.
